The End of Alzheimer’s Starts with Me. And You.

September is World Alzheimer’s Month! Join us by honoring the heroes that fight against this disease every day – and become a hero by helping to raise awareness.

Meet the Heroes - This September, the Alzheimer’s Association will applaud everyday heroes in the fight against Alzheimer’s. These are the individuals who have stepped up to declare “The End of Alzheimer’s Starts with Me” through their words and actions. Read about our heroes and tell us about yours. Spread the word! Tell your friends, family and co-workers what you’re doing to end Alzheimer’s. Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ events happening across the country. Together, we can make an impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Go Purple on September 21st. – Raise awareness by wearing purple on Sept. 21, Alzheimer’s Action Day; then turn Facebook purple by changing your profile picture to our END ALZ icon and telling your friends to do the same.

This September, corporations have joined the Alzheimer’s Association to recognize World Alzheimer’s Month. The Alzheimer’s Association and Threadless challenged artists to design a T-shirt inspired by the cause. For each shirt sold, 25% of the retail price will benefit the efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Pick one up in time for September 21, Alzheimer’s Action Day! Starting Sept. 1st, Bare Escentuals and BE CARES are supporting the Alzheimer’s Association with a new, limited-edition bareMineral® Tenderheart Eyecolor. Every purchase of Tenderheart Eyecolor helps support Bare Escentuals donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in the fight against the disease

Share Your Story- You are the everyday hero – the partner, sibling, child or friend who cares for and loves someone living with this disease. Tell us how the end of Alzheimer’s starts with you. Post an update declaring that “The End of Alzheimer’s Starts with Me.” Tell the world why you support the cause.
